Strength Training, Mobility & Yoga Personal Training in St. George

If you want one trainer who can combine strength training, mobility work and yoga into a single plan, that's exactly what I do. I'm Meg Pratt, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) in St. George, Utah. I build custom movement plans for women 30+ that include resistance training, mobility and flexibility through yoga, and the cardio you actually enjoy. Plans start at $200 per month, with in-person sessions in the St. George area or fully virtual coaching.

About Custom Movement Plans

Why combine strength, mobility and yoga?

Most people get strength from one coach, stretching from a YouTube video and cardio from whatever fits. The pieces never talk to each other, so you end up sore, tight or stuck.

A combined plan fixes that. Strength training builds muscle and bone density, which matters more every year after 30. Mobility work keeps your joints moving well enough to lift, run and hike without nagging pain. Yoga ties it together with flexibility, balance and breathwork that help you recover and manage stress. When one person plans all three, each session supports the next instead of competing with it.

I've practiced yoga, strength training and running for over 20 years, through half marathons, triathlons and two pregnancies. I know how these pieces fit together because I've had to make them fit in my own life.

What to bring and how it works

What to bring: workout clothes, supportive shoes for strength days, water, and a rough idea of your weekly schedule. For home sessions, I'll let you know whether to have dumbbells or bands on hand, or I'll bring them.

How it works:

  1. Request a consultation. Tell me a little about your goals using the request form.

  2. Meet for your consult. We talk by video or in person for about [30–45] minutes and do a simple movement assessment.

  3. Get your plan. Within [X] days you'll receive your first month of training.

  4. Train and check in. You train, I check in weekly, and we update the plan every month.

Frequently asked questions

Can one personal trainer combine strength training, mobility and yoga into one plan? Yes. As both a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and an RYT-200 yoga teacher, I build a single weekly plan that combines resistance training, mobility work, yoga and your preferred cardio, so each session supports the others.

How much does a personal trainer cost in St. George? My movement plans start at $200 per month.

Is it safe to start strength training after 30, or after having kids? Yes, with the right progression. I start with an assessment, build a foundation of technique and core stability, and progress gradually. If you're postpartum or managing an injury, please get clearance from your doctor first.

Do I need a gym membership? No. Plans can be built around a gym, a home setup with dumbbells and bands, or bodyweight only.

I already run or do triathlons. Will this interfere with my training? No. I plan strength and mobility around your race calendar, so they support your endurance training instead of leaving you too tired for it.

Can I do this fully online? Yes. Virtual plans include the same custom programming, monthly updates and weekly check-ins. You just don't get in-person sessions.

How long until I see results? “Results” really depends on what you’re looking for. Most clients notice better energy and mobility within 3–4 weeks and measurable strength gains within 8–12 weeks.
